the 89 headlights were slightly different from the 85's, but I got enough stuff at the yard to make it fit. now I gotta swap the other light, as the new ones look WAAAAAY better...
it passed.
so now I just have to put plates on both vehicles, and I'm gonna be a 5 registered vehicle taxpayer... arrgh.
only ONE car left in the yard needing to go. and it's got a home. hopefully it'll be there in the morning, and I'll be ready for inspection. one or two more scrap yard trips to make for "stuff" in the yard, it'll happen tomorrow also.
it's raining...
of course it's raining... the weather app on my phone says cloudy, 93% humidity, temps in the mid 60's... no mention of rain... the next 4 days are supposed to be sunny...
we'll see.
