Yes, the Win 75 is a great rifle. They don't make them like this anymore.
This one is a 1947 w/ matching serial#'s all original, considering the scope conversion. The target model is a bit heavy on the fore end, she is a real bench rest target shooter, highly accurate.
I had a CZ 452 in .22lr, I liked shooting it off hand w/ open sights. It's been sold, recently.
I just have too many and too little time to shoot.
I decided to consolidate, bring it down to 1 handgun + backup & a semi-auto rifle, such as a M1A or Mini 14.
We'll see what happens.
Btw, that .308 is quite a racket. I'd hate to see it go. In this time and age, where the fashion goes with all kinds of mixed quality AR's (what a frenzy), many are inapt when it comes to handling a 3/4 stock center fire short action bolt, w/ simple cross hair set in a fixed 4x glass lens (not synthetic!) & metal tube housing ... and the resemblance of the days when you could just grab a rifle on the way out together with a few quarts of motor oil from your local auto supply store. I may even keep it.
God bless America! ... and the preservation of our liberties!
