*Jeesh* spdrn, you make getting a refund sound like it's a bad thing...
It beats eating ramen-worms when the taxman comes a-callin' during the Ides Of March and beyond.
With every politician trying to buy a vote with my own money, changing the tax code "just enough" to make you "feel all warm and fuzzy" that you get to actually keep a little bit of your own pay, I avoid the need of having to scramble, at the last minute, to avoid the aftertaste of crappy food. I don't mind letting Uncle Sam play around with my filthy lucre...the trick is making sure you out-figured the Boobermint so that you end up on the right side of YOUR ledger...not theirs.
But hey...if you enjoy the intense feeling of impending financial doom, have at it. I've been there and it wasn't (nor' will it ever be) a fun feeling...but to each their own...
Thanks for the lack of tact and your insincere concern for my well-being. I'll take it under consideration and file it accordingly...
So far, I don't mind saying I'm winning. I sleep better at night and one way or the other, I don't spend a whole lotta' time worrying about who's getting ripped off. I learned along time ago that you're never going to win any p!ss!ng match with the Federales...so go into the tax season with more due you than you due them.
