How does it compare to a Glock in the same caliber - easier to control?
Yeah its a lot easier to control.

.40S&W is a snappy round, the recoil is very different from even .45. Never cared for it much until now, but I have only shot light weight compact and sub compact polymer pistols chambered in it. Most of those are simply overpowered by it, and like you said you have to just hold on and kind of hope the rounds land about where you want.

The 9mm in the 92 is a very soft shooting pistol, having shot both I really like the 96. This design is not light so why not put the weight to good use? Its mass keeps the snap of the .40 well under control.

I was very pleasantly surprised today with the accuracy I was able to get out of it shooting very piss poor unevenly loaded Winchester white box ammo. With real ammo I think I can get the groups to tighten right up. I think with real ammo and probably that EFK barrel this pistol could easily engage targets at 100 yards, if not further.
