I finally got around to installing the parking light flash relays on the SD today.

I didn't quite follow my own advice, here's how I wired up the relays. Either way will work though, in the manual for the unit, it says "high current output" for the parking lamp flash output. I left the polarity setting for output at factory default (+).



I used these relays, they were pretty cheap and I was able to fit them into the fuse box nicely:
