There should be a black plastic cover on the back of the light unit. Press the tab at the bottom upward and the cover should come free; it needs to "hinge" upward to remove. The back of the bulb should now be visible. Pull off the connector and unclip the wire retainer. The bulb should be a halogen H1 (55W). Be careful to align the base of the bulb when reinstalling.
