I know I know. Check your fuses.
I was reading all the threads I could find on the TN signal and saw an old Arthur Dalton thread where he reminded someone to check the fuses in the base module which I saw transmits some of the TN signal. Had not done that. Went home and bingo one of them was blown.

I replaced it and the car started idled smoothly and drives fine. I still have occasional bogging but I have new caps, rotors and plugs to install at some point.
