Looks like this might have a chance to become an oil type thread after all. Maybe tire thread is the new oil thread.

In the last ten years ago MANY tires have seen increase MAXIMUM inflation pressures as seen on the sidewalls. This is MAX pressure and does not significantly change the required pressure settings.
