I have been watering NATIVE trees all winter. I'm not complaining about the mild temps and drought, I personally can't take more than about 3 cloudy days in a row without becoming an impossible grouch, but i also know there won't be any grass this spring and my hay bills are steadily going up. Texas and Oklahoma are sending semi trailers to AZ to buy alfalfa due to their own drought, and the price is through the roof. The bagged Chaffhaye I normally feed the horses is made in Texas and is unavailable here now. I'll be dealing with sand-belly before long. The price of a nice, mild winter.
