May be the lightest winter on record this far north on the eastern seaboard. Only snowed twice locally with any real accumulation and the average temperatures in general seem much higher than typical. Especially noticeable is the high winds occassionally present do not seem to be as prevelant either.
The local guys with contractural snowplowing clients have cleaned up so to speak. The only thing I remember hearing although I have not really paid attention is the jet stream is different than normal this winter..
I wonder how this is going to effect the spring and early summer at this point? Especially in the areas where the light winter has been really abnormal.
