Hmm... that's not something in my .96/.97 swap notes. 300SDLs and 350SD/Ls use the same sensor 006 542 51 17. The 87 300D/TDs use a different sensor with the succession 006 542 28 17 -> 008 542 17 17 -> 010 542 22 17.

Now I wonder which sensor and flywheel I used in my swap because everything worked. I just might have a spare sensor from an 87 300D.
