(WHAT KIND OF A FARMER/ FARM BOY HAS NEVER PULL STARTED A CAR BEFORE?)

So tomorrow I will be fetching the car back to lafayette. It will take all day to driver 4.5 hours to where the car is, attach my tow bar and drag it home....assuming it does not snow, then all bets are off.

It will be a cold day in hell before she takes one of my cars north again.

I should have told him this was a test like Hercules and if he failed he could not marry my daughter.
lol, clearly his fear of his fathers wrath outweighs his desire to please his Girlfriend.

Sounds like a pretty upstanding kid to respect his fathers wishes when pressured though, but not particularly inventive. There is ALWAYS a way to sorta respect the fathers wishes, AND please the girlfriend.

He could have push started it as well. Move it up to starting speed with the benz in neutral, backed away and stop when she was rolling, and let her pop the clutch, would have had no effect on his truck.

Tape some foam to her bumper, and he would have been none the worse for wear. If he was worried about the front bumper, he could push her up to speed in reverse with his rear bumper.
