Its not the bad practices that come along with fracing its the bad practices that come along with drilling. I have watched that movie and never saw any frac equipment. I know what that stuff looks like because I fix it.
The water well you mention is not far from where I live and they drilled into a shallow gas pocket and had lived for quite a while with no idea that was going on as natural gas is odorless and colourless.
