True "special needs" students are handled well in most school systems.
Its the ones that try & say they are special needs when they are not that give the genuine ones problems.
A student off their face on meth has no place in any education system apart from what is offered in a penitentiary. These sorts need exclusion not inclusion !!
We have members on here with children with genuine disabilities, it is clear from their postings that they see the school as a place for development of their child's education.
Teenage day care & parental respite should not be considered part of the education process.
For far too long behavioral problems have been lumped in with medical/physical disabilities.
What is the incidence of ADHD in chilcutt's part of the world? Very low ? Only genuine cases. Attention seeking behavior is soon knocked out of them.
