So you can probably guess the scenario. Ice this morning in NC. Wife went out to defrost the car. It is sketchy here but one way or the other, the wiper was turned on and didn't move and for unknown reason to anyone, was not turned off!!!!!!

So is my likely situation that the wiper motor is burned up or is there some kind of relay or fuse I should check first?

It's a 95 E320 wagon (front wiper of course). I have a parts car so I suspect this won't be a big cost situation but it still ticks me off!!!
