One of the first tests I gave kids in logic class was to draw the circuit diagram for a stair light. Whether the kids got it or not was never related to their GPA.

Don't know about you but we were doing that at 15 to 16. We could do calculus for math and also inorganic chemistry with lab components and in physics, we were doing a watered down version of what we were doing in college physics.
