I switched between vehicles without a problem before I got around to adding my new car to my ez-pass account.
Same in PA. We still have 15 years before the wife is old enough to qualify for that.

Later this year, we'll be taking advantage of my wife's 50th birthday by applying for auto insurance through AARP. I'm hoping they'll cover me as well, since I'm married to her...and 10 years younger. Gotta look for and take advantage of every discount available nowadays.
