Toll roads are everywhere in Oklahoma. You can get from Tulsa to OKC on the Turner Turnpike and save 45 minutes over the same trip if you go by old Route 66.

That one Turnpike is said to pay for all of the Turnpikes in Oklahoma since almost all of the others lose money. There are only 3.5 Million people in the entire state and only a small percentage use the Toll Roads on a steady basis.

But since there is so little traffic on most of the toll roads they are a pleasure to drive. I use the Indian Nation Turnpike a lot and over a 100 mile trip I might see 50 other drivers. And that would be in the middle of the day!

And all it takes to clear up a problem is to give them a call. The last thing the Turnpike Aut. wants is for people to be anymore upset with them than they are now.
