I don't see how this is a "stab in the back" to us, if these people are settling their affairs by democratic means, and this is how they wish to organize their country, fine with me. A lot of these countries were created by the European powers back in colonial days and have never really worked as nations. Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan, all of them have been basket cases for decades because of this meddling, meddling done to make them easy to control for the purpose of raping them economically. If getting a divorce is the solution for them, I wish them the best of luck.
