I say go for it! Just strip everything from the donor car... mock it up off car then install away!!! Before I stripped everything from my submerged w140 I would never consider such a project... but now that i've disassembled the entire car... I can see that it's really not that complicated... A LOT of wires, yes... the key is tracing everything and that's EASY once the entire car is stripped. easier said than done?... maybe... but DOABLE. prep is key.
