Anyone done or seen freeair subs in the first aid / manual compartments of a w126?

My w126 sounds pretty good, but I was considering adding a pair of 8" subs in the two rear cabinets for the first aid kit and the manuals.

Couple of questions.

#1 how will these perform in this car? I just want some added low end, not ear splitting bass, or some boom car you can hear down the block.

#2 will the covers rattle? Also will the allow sound to pass through. I want to keep the appearance of the car as stock as possible, and I thought this might be a good option.

Thanks in advance,

George
