It's another law that needs to be put in place because the legislators are quite convinced that the general public is too stupid to do the right thing.

The right thing is to stop smoking. It doesn't take a genius to realize that the by-products of burning ANYTHING are toxic to the human body. Do we really need to discuss the level of toxicity that is necessary for the body to generate a negative response to the stimulus?

If the "right thing" was done by the population, you wouldn't need the law.
