Addiction is definitely on topic. Scientifically, nicotine is the most addictive drug known to man. Even heroin addicts don't need a fix every twenty minutes.

Speaking of heroin addicts, heroin is socially not that bad a drug when it is legal and easy to get, heroin addicts are docile little muffins when they don't have to steal. They can even drive much better than drunks can.
