On the positive side, all the work I did on my engine radically changed performance. So much more responsive, feels quicker, too. I guess all those parts (and especially vacuum leaks) that gradually wear over the years take their toll. Getting things back to spec. in the top end of the engine was worth it to me as my car is a keeper.
