I don't know CT's laws. in CARB states they'll be really picky. I know in VA you could probably get away with it if you hooked up the EGR. In MI they wouldn't care.

Don't know what to tell you about the physical fitment. I do know the 6 cylinders had a 722.3 transmission, I think your car has a 722.4 which can't handle as much torque.
