I think he meant MB in general, for making a mechanism that DOES get stuck from time to time for no apparent reason.

Once in a while I DO have to resort to kicking from the rear... other times a good yank will do it. Unpredictable really... even with a good penetrating oil soak... it's a hit and miss. To be fair to MB, at least when the system does fail, the seatbacks are locked in place... not flopping around which could be fatal.
