In Oklahoma most ranchers have a few Donkeys. They kick coyotes and the few wolfs left into the next county.

I have seen this with my own eyes. A pack of coyotes was stalking a cow and the Donkey just went over and started kicking them like the Donkey owned the cow.

I guess some people keep them as pets, but around here they are considered working animals.
