I have a 1993 300 TE base (not 4 Matic) wagon. It has the built in LED code reader. The check engine light came on a couple days ago. The LED flashes 8 times. I have the Bosch pdf manual but I am unsure as to which of the code pages to read since they differ depending upon a number of factors, some of which I cannot figure out.

What does 8 flashes on the LED mean?
