The glue is not cheap... in all I spent $80 on glue and remover. I didn't remove all of the old glue, I used the remover and got 90% of it off. I used 1 2/3 cans of the glue. I also didn't take the hood off, I had a helper and we aligned the pad with the hood in the normal position, then raised the hood to the service position and tamped it down.
