On one of my suburbans with the cursed side mount battery bolts I was trying to tighten the cable with this ridiculously small wrench which was required and touched the wrench against the body work.
Being the positive cable the wrench instantly created a dead short and started getting hot. Moving instantly in my catlike mode I grabbed the wrench to pull it out but was not fast enough and by the time I grabbed the wrench it was red hot. The wrench actually melted at that point and fell off the connection.
I looked at my thumb and finger and they each had this exact imprint in them of the wrench in black, looking just like the marks on a hot dog from the grill. I said "great, I have cooked my fingers!"
I feared a long and painful recovery but it turned out to be very superficial and nearly completely painless.
It was very exciting though.
