Using corn to make HFCS when sugar beets or good 'ol Cuban sugar cane would do is sheer lunacy. Using corn to make ethanol when abundant natural gas supplies exist also smacks of crazy ... let's see, takes more energy to make than you get from burning it!
THOSE things are driving up corn prices; talk about imbecilic gov't policies.
