What if the strobe is tuned to sound beat (I don't have sound on this computer)?

I'm thinking that the water is on constant drip making the droplets time-synched. Then adjust the sound. Does it appear that the sine wave freq is constant but the amplitude increases? That would conform with a volume, not freq adjustment.
