All part of the "No Child Shall Be Permitted To Learn Any Faster Than The Slowest Kid In The Class" act. Around here all they do is teach the test and try to force out the older (and higher paid, harder to be bullied) teachers. It's all about PR anymore.
Just be sure to carefully check out the results at any private school you consider. Some are great and some maybe not.
