Your cat is probably trying to tell you she needs help. When a cat shows a sudden, pronounced, and more than 1 or 2 day long change of behavior it is worthy of medical attention. Take the cat to a vet. The vet should test for UTI (bladder infection), do a blood draw and a physical exam to look for lumps, cuts, claws that have become so long they curl into the foot, infections in the mouth or bad teeth, ear infections, etc.

Also tell the vet about the birds. It’s possible that the cat was pecked by a bird and they carry diseases…
