Wow I wish I had his problems with rolling stock LOL.

On the subject of "sellilng for a friend" I think the main thing is to not just use those words without some additional and credible context, as they've been worn to death on both eBay and Craigs/etc.

Sometimes it seems like every second seller is selling a car he bought for a spouse, or a relative's car, or has to leave the country (this is my evergreen favourite).

I bought my '85 from a "selling for an elderly friend" listing on eBay and I won the lottery on that one. My previous car, the '80 wagon, was a "sellling for my dad" proposition and well... errr... not so much....
