Yes, especially over in Stuttgart.

I agree, "slaves" is too strong a word. And signing over intellectual rights as a condition of employment is pretty much standard - just seemed a little high-handed the way they worded it.
But I have had first hand experience with their attitude towards non-German employees, no matter what level - basically, if you're not German, you're automatically inferior.
