Public nudity is against the law in Texas if someone sees you and is offended by it. If they are not offended there is no crime.

This law was passed by a lot of do-gooders in Travis County, Texas, in order to shut down a nude beach on Lake Travis known as Hippy Hollow. There were several areas of the lake where nudity was common, but this one was a County owned and maintained public park.

After the law passed the plan for its' backers was to go there, be offended, and have everyone present arrested. But the County put a big sign at the entrance of Hippy Hollow saying if nudity offends you then don't go pass this point. The law did shut down nudity at all the other beaches, though, because the country would not put up the same sign.

The place is now so popular that Travis County now charges a fee for entry, and they make so much off this one park it pays for the entire county park system.
