Hi all,

Sorry if this is already here but I searched and couldn't find it. I have an S500 2002 w220, Trunk does not open or close, I took it to the dealer to see what the deal was and it turns out the car has two motors that power the trunk lid and one of them needed to be replaced, at a cost of a bout $2200 for the repair I really really don't want to do it. My question is....

can i convert the lid into a conventional lid and how?

Any ideas will help, thank you all
