Was just looking at rmasteller's post RE buying a 92 400E, and he says the steering has a slight "knock" or "tap" when the wheel is turned.

My car (93 300E) has the same thing. When I turn the wheel, I hear a knocking sound. Doesn't matter if I'm moving or stopped. Its been slowly getting worse since this summer, so I'm thinking its time I go hunting for the loose part. Any ideas where to begin?
