I'm not going to swap locks, I'm thinking I'll leave well enough alone with the passenger's side and trunk. Those areas have never been touched, and my thinking is: "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."
Would anyone know how the white plastic ring the lock tumbler arm connects to interacts with the vacuum solenoid? Are they directly linked? Maybe that's my problem. I don't think the plastic ring is connected to anything - that I can see anyway.
