steel jackstands can rupture the pads below the MB jack points. use wood to spread the load. also if there is ANY rust in the area, DO NOT USE STANDS THERE!!!

I like to connect to the control arm mounts with a jack stand. SOLID steel there. in the rear, the stands go just inside the subframe rail!
