I suspect his errors in that regard explain how he could lose by 20 points. He claims that the charges against him were overblown, that he still operates a farm in Indiana with his sons.
Perhaps he got overconfident. We'll see how prudent R primary voters were on this one. I suspect the D will win. This Mourdock guy doesn't strike me as having the right stuff.
