^ He seemed pretty fit for 80 but that is getting up there, he'd a been 86 at the end of his term. Not quite Strom Thurmond territory but heading that direction.

I'd rather have Lugar in the senate than many of the Ds I know of. And yes, I am wishing that an avowed uber partisan likes what's his face doesn't ascend to the senate. I don't like the guy.
