I have long heard/read that MB (OE) is best. Second best I have heard/read is Balo or Brembo (Brembo cost significantly more) rotors and Textar Yellow Box Pads.

Second choice is supposedly slightly better on dust and better on noise than US OE -- is supposed to be closer to German OE. I have been told that ATE Powerdisk rotors are no good on MB -- they crack, although I have them on my VW rabbits with Ferodo pads and love them.
