ALDA picture - the guts

Gentleman,

I have read a few times that people wondered what the ALDA looked like inside. I tried adjusting mine and unscrewed it a little too far and pulled the screw out of the aneroid rendering it non-functional.
The ALDA works 100% like the aneroid barometers in the planes that I fly. The aneroids are relaxed with no boost or higher elevation, and compress with boost which pressurizes the ALDA "box" and the plunger under the ALDA leading into the injection pump raises, thereby enrichening the amount of fuel for a given throttle setting. I broke my ALDA and am now trying to get another, but the car runs great with it completely removed. I simply covered the hole temporarily as it is not under any oil pressure, etc. Sorry about the pic size, but it would only let me post one of this size or smaller, but as you can see, it is a VERY simple gizmo.
