In my experience, the younger generation seems to be more opposed to abortion than the generation which first insisted that women have reproductive rights. I attribute that fact to the massive propaganda campaign over the last 20 or 30 years against women's reproductive lives and the fact that since abortion has been legal ever since the younger generations have been born, they don't see the importance of thinking the issue thru as much.

I once had a student whose mother told her she had almost aborted her due to serious health concerns. Upon learning of those circumstances, the child thought that the wiser decision for her mother would have been to abort her.
