That is also true, I was one of them.

Even at the induction station, they give you the "choice"to step forward and serve or refuse.
Anyone who wears the uniform is my brother or sister, regardless of rank. That's something people who have not been in the military can never understand. No offense, just the truth, just like I as a man, can never understand what it means to give birth.
It's like being a cop, an EMT or a firefighter. You end up being in a group that is apart from others.
