Let's hope that the next administration doesn't undo all the good work Mayor Bloomberg has done. I had lunch at a place called Manna's this Tuesday. It's on 125th St. in Harlem. I wouldn't even have thought about doing something like this during the Dinkin's years. I spent the rest of the day enjoying the sights, sounds, and smells of Manhattan (no tourist stuff), from Harlem to the Lower East Side, and several places in between. I spent a little money here and there, always at the small neighborhood stores. It was a very enjoyable day, and I'll probably go back in a few weeks to explore some different places. I applaud Mayor Bloomberg for making NYC a safer place. As far as I'm concerned, the Mayor's pros outweigh the cons by a ton.
