Your assessment of the OP is very incorrect.
Dont be fooled by his stats. They were reset a while back.
He has been on this site longer than most.
Cant remember if he pre dates BC.
IIRC he goes back to the old mercedes shop days.
His technical knowledge on MB's gives most a run for their money. Especially on aircon.
Do a search on very old posts & you will confirm this.

As long as I have known him on here he has been Conservative.
In recent times he appears to have decided to have a little fun with the young ones on OD.
He is old enough to be the father of most on OD.
