Pnlot, regarding leaks on/near the IP, You may find that it's leaking from the cover plates on the IP. There's one on the bottom and one on the side. Both are sealed with molded rubber seals similar to O-rings but in rectangular shape. They shrink over time - especially if you run biodiesel and/or SVO. The seal on the back of the pump is not effected because it seals oil, not fuel. I've got a couple of new seals on my bench along with an intake manifold gasket for when I finally get around to correcting this.
